Estate vines, off the top block, which comes on the earliest (and seemingly results in a very pale but vibrant looking wine).
Nadja Wallington makes some clever and considered decisions about winemaking to bring this to life. Succulent, lighter bodied, tart pinot noir of pickled cherry, pomegranate juice, young raspberry fruit characters and scents.
Some spice, some faint earthiness, a lick of yeasty savoury complexity. Sappy finish. Has a lushness despite the lighter style. Should please all comers.
